Native to South America, it has been widely naturalized in tropical regions around the world.
Description Lajjalu is a small, creeping annual or perennial herb with compound leaves that fold up when touched or disturbed. The flowers are pink or purple and the fruit is a pod.
Parts Used Whole plant, especially leaves and roots.
Dose 5-10 gm in powder form.
